Just can't win with this one. I started with glFinish because it's technically the correct option, however it caused issues on a GPU, so I switched it out for glFlush. Then I started noticing other frame sync oddities that would be fixed by using glFinish, so I switched back. Now, not only is it causing GPU issues on one system, it seems to be causing GPU issues on others too. So now glFlush seems like the lesser of the two evils, and I'm just going to have to find a way around the aforementioned frame sync issues.
This will break some systems, but is necessary for frames not to corrupt under some circumstances. It sucks but that's the tradeoff we have to make.
I think it's time to get off OpenGL. It's not worth it anymore.

It's been 84 years, but the polygon generator not only works, but now has bezier support. The UI could still use some work, but this was the hardest part. I guess complex masking should be possible now, if perhaps slightly cumbersome until the UI is smoothed out.
If you run into new OpenGL issues, this is likely the commit that caused it.
I've tested this on as many systems as I have access to (including AMD, Apple,
Intel, and NVIDIA GPUs with a mixture of Windows, Linux, and macOS) and it
appears to work fine, however we all know how unpredictable GPUs can be.
This should help increase GPU performance and compatibility.

attempt at sharing contexts
Sometimes when the default fragment shader is used a_texcoord is
optimised out
which can cause GL errors. Also adds the same check for a_position
preemptively
Project items are now represented directly in nodes opening up more versatility and possibilities. This is the first iteration of this and will be buggy. Need to test thoroughly.
Yep, this is another one of my "famous" sweeping rewrites. Expect things to break.
Goals for this are:
- Greatly simplify node connections (particularly with arrays) so the code requires less maintenance/is more stable
- Redesign node structure to address issues where UI would stall for lengthy periods of time
- Less reliance on shared ptrs/greater reliance on QObject system for inheritance/memory management
- General code cleanup and improvements
