6563330239 Supermaven (#10788)
Adds a supermaven provider for completions. There are various other
refactors amidst this branch, primarily to make copilot no longer a
dependency of project as well as show LSP Logs for global LSPs like
copilot properly.

This feature is not enabled by default. We're going to seek to refine it
in the coming weeks.

9bac64a9c1 Rename RemoteProject -> DevServerProject (#11301)
Co-Authored-By: Mikayla <mikayla@zed.dev>

In a fit of ill-advisedness I called these things remote projects;
forgetting that remote project is also what we call collaboratively
shared projects.

With this patch applied I can see the following line in the test output:

been running for over 60 seconds

Without it I run in a failure with 'Invalid keystroke `cmk-,`

Marshall Bowers 16e6f5643c Extract SemanticVersion into its own crate (#9956)
This PR extracts the `SemanticVersion` out of `util` and into its own
`SemanticVersion` crate.

This allows for making use of `SemanticVersion` without needing to pull
in some of the heavier dependencies included in the `util` crate.

As part of this the public API for `SemanticVersion` has been tidied up
a bit.

Conrad IrwinandNathan cb4f868815 remoting (#9680)
This PR provides some of the plumbing needed for a "remote" zed
instance.

The way this will work is:
* From zed on your laptop you'll be able to manage a set of dev servers,
each of which is identified by a token.
* You'll run `zed --dev-server-token XXXX` to boot a remotable dev
server.
* From the zed on your laptop you'll be able to open directories and
work on the projects on the remote server (exactly like collaboration
works today).

For now all this PR does is provide the ability for a zed instance to
sign in
using a "dev server token". The next steps will be:
* Adding support to the collaboration protocol to instruct a dev server
to "open" a directory and share it into a channel.
* Adding UI to manage these servers and tokens (manually for now)

8ae5a3b61a Allow AI interactions to be proxied through Zed's server so you don't need an API key (#7367)
Co-authored-by: Antonio <antonio@zed.dev>

Resurrected this from some assistant work I did in Spring of 2023.
- [x] Resurrect streaming responses
- [x] Use streaming responses to enable AI via Zed's servers by default
(but preserve API key option for now)
- [x] Simplify protobuf
- [x] Proxy to OpenAI on zed.dev
- [x] Proxy to Gemini on zed.dev
- [x] Improve UX for switching between openAI and google models
- We current disallow cycling when setting a custom model, but we need a
better solution to keep OpenAI models available while testing the google
ones
- [x] Show remaining tokens correctly for Google models
- [x] Remove semantic index
- [x] Delete `ai` crate
- [x] Cloud front so we can ban abuse
- [x] Rate-limiting
- [x] Fix panic when using inline assistant
- [x] Double check the upgraded `AssistantSettings` are
backwards-compatible
- [x] Add hosted LLM interaction behind a `language-models` feature
flag.

Release Notes:

- We are temporarily removing the semantic index in order to redesign it
from scratch.

Max BrunsfeldandMarshall 724c19a223 Add a setting for custom associations between languages and files (#9290)
Closes #5178

Release Notes:

- Added a `file_types` setting that can be used to associate languages
with file names and file extensions. For example, to interpret all `.c`
files as C++, and files called `MyLockFile` as TOML, add the following
to `settings.json`:

    ```json
    {
      "file_types": {
        "C++": ["c"],
        "TOML": ["MyLockFile"]
      }
    }
    ```

As with most zed settings, this can be configured on a per-directory
basis by including a local `.zed/settings.json` file in that directory.

gmorenz 8f5d7db875 First pass at making a linux keymap (#8082)
Undoubtedly not perfect, but this should be something we can work off
of.

Note that matching keybindings with ctrl in them is currently broken on
linux (or at least x11). This keymap might just manage to be less useful
than using the macos one on linux until that is fixed... the proximate
cause of this is that the `key` field of the `Keystroke` struct looks
like `"\u{e}"` instead of `"n"` when `ctrl-n` is pressed.

Conrad Irwin 0b1b758f02 Fix leaking test contexts
I was unable to run the collab tests locally because I would run out of
file descriptors.

From some digging it turned out that tokio allocates a new file
descriptor to do work on the CurrentThread using KQUEUE.

We create a new tokio Runtime with each database connection, and these
database connections were being retained by the Client, which is
retained by the Context.

Cleaning up our leaked contexts fixes the problem (though does make me
wonder if a different approach might be preferrable).
