The test failure we fixed doesn't seem directly related to the contact update. Maybe it just caused a failure to occur earlier than it would have in the sequence of seeds. We fixed the test failure by responding to a user joining the project while holding the lock on the Store. This ensures that we don't send messages related to the project to that user until they've had a chance to setup event handlers after receiving the response. Zed Server
This crate is what we run at https://collab.zed.dev.
It contains our back-end logic for collaboration, to which we connect from the Zed client via a websocket after authenticating via https://zed.dev, which is a separate repo running on Vercel.
