The .ts files had been corrupted by an earlier formatting run that
inserted spaces into XML tags (e.g. '<?xml version = "1.0" ... ?>'),
breaking lrelease parsing. Restore all files under app/ts/ from the last
good revision before the corruption.
The Project Explorer previously only had an old Pre-Cache submenu that
required choosing a sequence. Replace it with the same Proxy menu that
the timeline uses:
- Generate Proxy: batch-generates proxies for all selected footage items
that have an enabled video stream, using ProxyManager and the current
proxy settings.
- Use Proxy: checkable toggle that enables/disables proxy playback for the
selected footage.
- Reveal Proxy / Delete Proxy: consistent with the timeline context menu.
Also make Footage::SaveCustom() write the <proxy> element whenever
proxy_enabled_ is true, even if proxy_path_ is empty, and load it back
in LoadCustom(). This preserves the user's Use Proxy preference across
project saves so it is restored on the next open.
Translation files updated with lupdate; zh_CN and zh_TW translations for
the new Project Explorer strings (and the matching timeline strings) are
filled in.
Run lupdate to pull the latest source strings (including new proxy
settings/menu text) into all .ts files. Translations for the new strings
are marked unfinished and can be filled in by translators.
* .arg() doesn't handle plurals, replace %1 with %n and pass number to tr(), but only if there is an accompanying word for that we want singular/plural translations and only for whole numbers.
* Qt's translation methods only accept integers and we don't know what grammatical number form would be correct for floating-point numbers in different languages anyway.
* Add optional 2nd argument to SliderBase::SetFormat() to activate deferred plural handling:
SetFormat(QT_TRANSLATE_N_NOOP("olive::SliderBase", "%n unit(s)"), true)
* Generate en_US.ts with lupdate's -pluralonly option. Only source strings that require plural handling need to be translated (as long as the source language is American English).
The macro defined namespaces confused the hell out of lupdate and more or less broke translations permanently. Looks like the only way we can do it is to have a hardcoded namespace, which goes against my instinct, but honestly how likely is it that we'll change the namespace anyway (I guess forks might want to do it, but that's their problem ;) )
